Decir keeps the normal future endings but shortens its infinitive to the irregular stem dir-. These forms make predictions, promises, and sometimes conjectures about the present.

What to remember
- Diré, dirás, dirá, diremos, diréis, dirán use the same endings as regular futures.
- Every form except diremos carries a written accent on the ending.
Common trap: Do not build the future as deciré or use the present stem dig-. The future stem is dir-; dig- belongs to forms such as digo and diga.
