What to remember
- Facturar means to check in luggage; equipaje is normally an uncountable collective noun.
- Llevar retraso describes an accumulated delay, while estar retrasado describes something delayed.
Common trap: Puerta is only “gate” when the airport context is clear. Say puerta de embarque when you need to distinguish it from an ordinary door.
