Understand the choice
Office vocabulary becomes usable through verb-noun partnerships: eine Aufgabe übernehmen, eine Frist einhalten, einen Bericht schreiben, and mit Kollegen abstimmen.
Core rule: Schicken takes an accusative item and an + accusative recipient; after a fronted phrase, the verb remains second.

Nach der Besprechung schicke ich den Bericht an das Team.
After the meeting I send the report to the team.
Nach der Besprechung fills first position; schicke is second; Bericht is the object and Team recipient.
Die Frist für diese Aufgabe endet am Freitag.
The deadline for this task ends on Friday.

Im Homeoffice spreche ich täglich mit meinen Kollegen und einem Kunden.
Working from home, I speak daily with colleagues and a client.
Homeoffice frames the setting; Kollegen and Kunde follow dative mit.
What to remember
- Besprechung is an ordinary work meeting; Sitzung can be a formal session.
- Kollege has weak-noun endings: mit einem Kollegen.
Common trap: Do not use bis Freitag as if Frist itself were a time preposition; say die Frist endet am Freitag.
