A hotel exchange needs the booking identity, room details, breakfast schedule, and a way to report missing or broken items. Store each issue with a useful verb: Handtuch fehlt, Aufzug funktioniert nicht.

What to remember
- Buchung and Reservierung overlap; Buchung emphasizes the booking transaction.
- Im ersten Stock can mean one floor above ground level in Germany.
